These terms apply to everyone who uses Quizzalong (quizzalong.com), whether you play, host, create an account or buy a business plan. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Who we are. Quizzalong is operated by Quizzalong (company details to be confirmed) ("we", "us"). You can contact us at .
1. The service
Quizzalong lets you play quiz videos along with other people: a video asks the questions, players answer on their phones, and the site keeps score. We offer free play, personal accounts and paid business plans. We may change, add to or withdraw parts of the service at any time; where a change materially affects a paid plan we will tell you in advance.
2. Accounts
- You must be 13 or older to create an account. Children younger than that may play in a game hosted by an adult, but may not register.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account unless it was accessed without your fault, in which case tell us straight away at .
- Give us accurate details and keep them up to date. You may delete your account at any time from your account page; see the privacy notice for what happens to your data.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used to abuse other players or the service, or has been inactive for a long time (we will warn you first where we can).
3. Playing and hosting fairly
The quizzes are for fun. Please do not: use automated tools to answer or to flood games; share answers with other players during a game; enter team names, nicknames or other text that is offensive, discriminatory, defamatory or impersonates someone else; try to access other people's games, accounts or data; probe, scan or test the security of the site without our written permission; or copy, download or re-publish our quizzes, videos or questions outside the site. We may remove content and end games that break these rules.
4. Your content
Team names, nicknames, organisation details and, on business plans, the quizzes and videos you upload remain yours. You give us a licence to store, show and process them as needed to run the service for you and your players. You confirm that you have the right to use anything you upload (including music and footage in your videos) and that it does not break the law or anyone's rights. We may remove content that we reasonably believe does so.
5. Our content
Our videos, questions, artwork, names and logos belong to us or our licensors. You may use them on the site to play and host games, embed our public videos where YouTube allows, and share links to the site. You may not sell, copy or distribute them otherwise.
6. Business plans and payment
- Business plans are described on the pricing page, including what each plan includes, its limits and its price. Prices exclude VAT unless stated.
- Plans are paid in advance by card through our payment provider, or, where we have switched it on, by invoice under our invoice payment terms.
- A free trial lasts for the period shown when you sign up. Nothing is charged unless you choose a plan.
- Card subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your organisation page; access continues to the end of the paid period and no partial refunds are given for that period.
- If a payment fails or an invoice is not paid on time, we may limit the plan to read-only access until it is settled.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; a change applies from your next renewal.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the site available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may take it down for maintenance, usually with notice. We are not responsible for failures of your internet connection, your devices or third-party services (such as YouTube or your payment provider).
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that: for free use of the site we are not liable for any loss or damage beyond what the law requires; for paid plans our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period; and we are not liable for loss of profit, business, goodwill or data, or for indirect or consequential loss. If you are a consumer, your legal rights are not affected.
9. Privacy and cookies
How we handle personal data is explained in the privacy notice and the cookies we use in the cookie notice. Both form part of these terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the bottom shows the current version. For material changes we will tell account holders by email or a notice on the site before they take effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new terms.
11. General
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that consumers resident elsewhere in the UK or the EU keep the protection of their local law and courts. If any part of these terms is found invalid the rest still applies. These terms are the whole agreement between us about the site, and only we and you have rights under them.
Version 1. Last updated 2026.
